We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader & 2IC to join our reputable, community-based 70-place early learning centre. This leadership role is ideal for a strong Diploma or ECT -qualified educator with proven leadership experience who is inspired by early childhood theorists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for curriculum development and value strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and the wider community. The centre philosophy is deeply influenced by Reggio Emilia, Froebel, and Montessori, focusing on child-led learning, intentional environments, and the holistic development of every child. About the Role As the Educational Leader & 2IC , you will: Lead, mentor, and support educators in high-quality, reflective practice Drive curriculum and pedagogy aligned with the EYLF and NQS Support the Nominated Supervisor with daily operations and leadership duties Embed Reggio Emilia, Froebel, and Montessori principles into learning environments Build strong, respectful relationships with families and the local community Support continuous improvement, quality improvement planning, and compliance What We’re Looking For ECT or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) Current Working with Children Check Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection certifications Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and the role of Educational Leader under the Law and Regulations Proven experience mentoring and inspiring educators Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills A commitment to inclusive practices and continuous learning Full Working Rights - this is a permanent role (Mon - Fri) What We Offer Competitive rates $$$ (dependent on experience) 2 Days OFF the floor Ongoing professional development and leadership training A supportive and collaborative team culture Well-resourced, spacious, and inspiring learning environments Staff wellbeing initiatives and flexible work arrangements Apply Today!
